Voices of the 2026 conference

Confirmed speakers and experts for the 3rd edition. Additional government and industry voices will be announced.

CONFERENCE CHAIR

Dr. Buthaina Hassan Al-Ansari

Conference Chair - Chairman of the Board, Hawkama International

One of Qatar's foremost women leaders in strategic planning and women's empowerment; in 2022 she became the first Qatari woman elected as an independent board member of a publicly listed company on the Qatar Stock Exchange. She has held senior roles including Senior Executive Director of Human Resources at Ooredoo and Acting HR Director at the Qatar Investment Authority, and currently serves on the boards of Estithmar Holding and Dlala Holding. She chairs the third ESG Qatar Conference as QFMA mandatory disclosure takes effect.

In light of the mandatory directives issued by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority regarding the preparation of disclosure reports on ESG practices and standards, our annual conference serves as a strategic platform for Qatari companies to advance transparency, governance and sustainability. Adherence to Environmental, Social and Governance standards is not merely a regulatory requirement, but rather a long-term investment in investor confidence and sustainable economic growth, while also supporting Qatar National Vision 2030. I invite you all to actively participate in this conference, exchange expertise, and adopt best global practices that will contribute to strengthening the position of our companies in regional and international markets.

"Compliance with ESG standards is no longer merely a regulatory requirement - it is a long-term investment in investor confidence and economic sustainability."

Dr. Buthaina Hassan Al-Ansari
